FOW will sell a slightly used 360 for a good bit more than a new one lists for (according to Car and Driver, etc). Can anyone explain how this works?

I have always assumed that if you are willing to put your name on a list with Ferrari, you can get the car for MSRP. However, if you dont get your name on a list, you have to pay a large dealer mark-up (assuming you can even find a new car). Is this correct, or does someone who orders "from the factory" still pay well above what the car magazines list new Ferraris for?

    Thanks,
    Colin

dealers can only sell new ferraris for msrp. if they are hot, they will immediatley by them back used and mark them up as a used car. the original customer and the dealer make some quick, easy money.

Welcome. Ferrari pricing and waiting lists have been much discussed in the general section. In a few words: demand greatly exceeds supply for many models. Scarcity of product has created an unusual market.

Now, go to FoW, buy a car, and come to the track with the rest of us.

    Cheers, Will

what demand? I'm selling my Spider and there like a million 360's for sale. It's def. a buyer's market cuz I have talke to so many people and theres simply too many of these cars around for sale.
