    Can someone recommend a frame shop in Florida or southeastern U.S. that can streigthen the right rear of a Testarossa chassis? The engine, transmission and pertaining bodywork are off so its just putting it on a frame machine and realigning the bent tubular members.Thanks in advance

    I am no expert in that but I believe to do this right it takes a lot more than what it looks like you think it takes. You are not talking about a taco that is crooked. Pull on one end and the other will come straight. A lot more to it.

    the only guys with a frame machine for a Ferrari is Shelton's shop.

    The Testarossa has an "old fashion" steel-alloy tubular chassis, not the composite unistructure on the newer cars. You need a frame repair machine, like a Genesis II that uses a laser to align and straighten the metal tubes. It doesn't have to be a "Ferrari chassis machine" just a frame machine in the hands of someone that has worked with tubular chassis before as found in most older exotics and race cars. Unfortunately most frame shops I contacted in South Florida (Dade-Broward) only do the high volume collision work and don't want to deal with more exotic work. I don't know anyone further north and would appreciate a suggestion.

    Try Jim @ Mchughs in Hollywood. I think he has a laser frame machine. If not he will be able to tell you where they have one. He does allot of exotic work.
