    In light of the Madrid bombing, France has raised their terror alert
    level from "run" to "hide".

    The only two higher levels in France are "surrender" and "collaboration"

    What do you mean "RAISED" they've been on this hightented "surrender/collaboration" alert since Napolean got cold feet in Russia centuries ago. The Germans were well aware of the "surrender alert" and knew they could just do a parage into Paris.

    I find it humerous that the French wouldn't support us for fear of losing all thos Iraqi oil contracts (though they said it was principle) and now they get targeted anyway.

    Two Frenchmen were being stood against a wall by a Nazi execution squad.     having lived in europe most of my life, i have a pretty good understanding of the french in general. i am not a francophile, other than loving their wine, cheese, food, skiing, beaches, etc etc.

    and i am certainly not a fan of chirac or his behaviour towards the USA.

    so with all the caveats out of the way....
    i will say that their head of anti-terror is a fellow called brisard. and he is the undisputed king of anti terror. cia, nsa, fbi everybody looks up to this guy. he pulls no punches, has complete control to investigate, arrest, judge and sentence. and he does it all over the place.

    anyway, i just thought i would throw them this bone because this is one area they actually have a leader in.

    Doesent really matter as generally speaking knowone likes them,to enjoy their country,food etc is one thing!!!
    the generally held opinion of disliked nations(People) in Europe is:(1 to 3 of disliked)
    1) French
    2)Germans
    3)British (yes I know it"s hard to believe!!!!!)
