    PARIS: France has expressed concern about Iran's first domestically launched satellite.

    One of the worries associated with Iran's fledgling space program is that the technology used to launch satellites can be used to deliver warheads.

    French Foreign Ministry spokesman Eric Chevallier says his nation is "worried that there is ... the development of capacities that can be used in the ballistic framework."

    French officials declined to say where France received its information about the satellite, but they did confirm that a launch had taken place.

    Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said his country successfully sent the satellite into orbit at a launch late Monday.

    VictoryState television showed footage of what it said was the nighttime liftoff of the rocket carrying the satellite at an unidentified location in Iran.




    Oh boy, time to build that bomb shelter.

    Iran probably already has nukes that's why USrael hasn't bombed them yet. We only bomb places that can't defend themselves.

    well. . i would like to know who helped Iran Make the rockets? a nuclear Iran is a walking time bomb

    you can thank the ruskies for that. Its only a matter of short time before Iran hits Israel. If they deliever a nuke to Israel = bye bye middle east and prob the rest of human kind for atleast 20 yrs. Someone better take out Iran realllllllllllllllllll soon.

    Agree on the part of them trying to hit Israel when they have the expertise. Well, lets hope that day doesnt come.

    Did NORAD confirm it yet? They track everything up there.

    Point being - Iran has been known to fib about their rocket launches in the past.
