Franck Montagny latest name linked with Renault

Now if this were to come to fruition, it would be VERY interesting to say the least....limiting factor would be could Renault produce a car worthy of him and a win???

This guy is blindingly fast and there again if Canada were to occur, Peugeot would be out a driver in the 908 at the 24h.

Franck Montagny is the latest name kinked with a possible drive with Renault next season.

With the struggling French rookie Romain Grosjean's position not secure, L'Equipe reported that Montagny's name is being linked with the Enstone-based team. Contacted by 20minutes.fr, Montagny confirmed that talks are underway.

The former Renault tester and Super Aguri Honda driver was previously linked with the new start-up team USF1.

L'Equipe also mentioned Timo Glock, Adrian Sutil and Jarno Trulli in connection with Renault, who have already signed Robert Kubica to replace the Ferrari-bound Fernando Alonso.

Also named in media reports in connection with Renault is Bruno Senna, but it is believed the Brazilian is only in the frame for the 'young driver' test at Jerez in December.
