I am going to be attending Media Days at the LA Auto Show in Jan... definitely going one of the two days. I see that Frank Stephenson (director of concept design & development for Ferrari and Maserati, for those unfamiliar with him) will be speaking the second day. Would he be worth going back to see? Is anyone here going to Media Days at the show? Thanks in advance for the feedback!

Definitely. Stephenson is as much responsible for the 430 and 612, as well as the Gransport and Quattroporte, inside and out, as Pininfarina. His thoughts are bound to be interesting. Be sure to tell us some of his more memorable quotes.

Frank Stephenson? Of course! Mr. Stephenson was largely responsible for the 612 and F430 to my knowledge, and for Maserati's Gransport and Quattroporte sedan. It would be great to hear what he has to say.

Thanks for the feedback! I think I'm going to try and make it there for that. If I do, I'll take notes and come back here and fill you guys in.

Past works include the new Mini and the BMW X5, both great designs in their own right.

There was actually a good article on FS in Automobile magaizine a few months back. He refered to his job as the "best in the world." While that is certainly true, he also has a tremondous responsibility on his hands. Judging by the 430, he will do a great job, thankfully.
