Yeah TR was never meant to cab. and I feel the exact same way about the Barchetta 550. Lines to not flow well at all. But at least they got it right with the Superamerica 575

Of the three I have seen (Straman, Lorenz & Rankl and factory), the factory car for Agnelli probably works best with the hood up. The L&R cars have stiffness in their favour but at the cost of weight.

Undeniably , Ferrari would have sold many in topless manner.
The Holy MoFo factor was there!
The high mirror with no top was a real deal maker..

    Stramans version was the best.
And the 550 Barchetta will go down as one of the most beautiful F cars ever.

When I sold mine..rear TRX's were never to be found again and knock off 16 inch american wheels were like finding a needle in a haystack.

    Love my straman..

I'm a big fan of convertibles and the Straman TR are very nice. I was close to buy a black one in California a few years back before I bought my yellow TR. I should have bought it. I also love the 550 barchetta.

Yeah, unless the engine is cold that filler cap location screams "No no no!"

Try to fill an early Pantera. With the filler neck inside the engine compartment right over the exhaust. Scary!

Classic! And I am a Coke guy. I assume that the wheel discs were installed to hide the Ferrari trademarked wheels for legal purposes with the bonus of making it look more "futuristic".
