    I'm not familiar with the area. Are there any good roads to take the Ferrari on, no potholes or a lot of traffic etc.

    Talk to Hardtop. He knows the lay of the land. I drove his 328 GTB on some of those roads and they were as good as it gets in this part of the country.

    Careful, Hardtop's definition is slanted. He lives on a dirt road, so pavement is a luxery to him!

    Highway 83, South from Franktown to Colorado Springs. It's 40 or 50 miles of 2-lane highway with some great high-speed sweepers and arrow-straight stretches for speed. Few cops patrol the road, and you can usually see quite a ways in front of you. Traffic is usually at a minimum, but it's an absolute blast to reel cars in and pass them. I used to travel this route daily in my 328 or 911, even though it added 15 miles to my commute. Good stuff.
