Even though in Dallas and I'm out of the 'Target Zone', we're expecting heavy rain and 75mph winds this weekend. I checked my battery supply this morning, and I'm in good shape.

I went to Wal Mart last night to get some non-perishables, and I got the last 4 cases of bottled water. People were buying stuff like we're going to experience a New Orleans type disaster.

If I needed em, I couldn't get em. Four misdirected packages from UPS. Today was one of them. They claim 2 attempts at delivery and nada. Nothing, zilch. They were trying to deliver it to the wrong address, again. This is the fourth time this month. And once it is signed for, they don't give a ****, so I end up going knocking on neighbors doors, up to several blocks away to track down my packages from the clues. Sheeesh... UPS sucks.

Wow. It's strange to see this thread in TX section, but yesterday I went to some stores, Sam's, Costco, & Walmart, and they were all sold out of bottled water, and D batteries.

Bruce apparently knows better for the situation like this, and I respect you for doing all this for hurricane disaster areas.

Outside is so hot in the past few days, but my kids are just playing outside. Watching them from the window now, I cannot believe we're waiting for one of the biggest storm to hit DFW right now.
