One of my friends is looking for a house at this price level in Durham. Now all I need to do is convince him to buy this one and I can get my hands on the free Ferrari!
No not so unique, about 20 years ago, my stepfather's cousin bought a house and got a ferrari thrown in. I canot remember the model but it was left hand drive. It need some work done but nothing dire !
I am sure I saw this ad about a year or so ago - anyone else recall it? Not sure why the press has picked up on it again. It doesn't look like a bad car. Not sure how a mortgage would work in this instance. There is no such thing as a free lunch, the Bank is not going to value the property at the asking price - and would be unwilling to provide the additional mortgage funds to cover the cost of the car as this will be unsecured. Possibly why this house is still on the market?
I watched this on 5th gear last night, the house was valued at 70 grand and the 355 at 40 grand but the seller only wanted 69 grand for the two but the only catch was that the house was in the middle of a construction site and would remain like that for a year or two plus there were sitting tennants with 18 months left to run on their tenancy, BTW Vicky had a skirt on
Thanks for that Steve & Pete it now makes more sense. I'll watch the inevitable repeat - purely to confirm the facts and not to gawp at VBH's legs, of course
Sorry my mistake 370 the house was valued at and 1250 a month from the tennants, why doesnt my pound sign on the keyboard work?? i get # instead of the pound symbol??
Because your keyboard is configured for the US. In XP/2003, go to Control Panel/Regional and Language Options/Languages/Details, and change the "Default input Language" to English (United Kingdom) You may need to "add input language" if this choice is not in the pull-down box. As another tip, remember that the pound symbol is always handily available by the quick and easy-to-remember keystrokes of holding down ALT whilst typing on the numeric keypad 0163 ;-)
