Based on this banning 80% of the posters in the Oz section should be banned. Its quite sad really that most people around the world are sooooo sanitised, boo hoo wake up and as they say harden the **** up. PC gone mad.

they are all lovely people, level-headed, even-tempered, unbiased ......... you're just jealous you don't support Lewis like us reasonable people, I think he is a lovely person ... Jenson drove way better than him though and doesn't destroy cars as quickly ... they had to pull Hamilton in again as he would never make it to the end with the way he was driving
While touching upon a few issues regarding certain members and moderators, I'll fulfill my contractual obligations as the good>bad bad>good cop. Upon awakening, after logging on and taking a look at this wonderful section, I deleted a thread which was a veritable smorgasbord of downward spiraling sentiments. Also cast out a few choice, sometimes profane words within posts here and there in which similar sentiments were expressed by several members primarily towards one member of this section of this site whose initials are same as Ralph Lauren. Per quite reasonable request, his given name is not given freely on this site. As such, please refrain from doing so on this site. As to the PP ban, after the always debatable [whether right or wrong] F1 section's regular core was virtually eviscerated [whether right or wrong], as indicated on the thread, the final straw was insinuating/inferring/accusing one member who happens to be a moderator of being deceptive, or a fabricator. As does the moderator in question, I consider that to be the most grievous and personal of insults, whether it is applied to myself or any other member. The ban length itself is after a fashion, in which discussion up to and inclusive of the Malaysia GP will be unencumbered by the accusing party. Naturally, I encourage opinion and debate elsewhere, but not at the expense of this beloved corner of the world. In a nutshell, one must choose not just their battles, but their words, wisely [whether right or wrong].
