Good day to you Steve - I wouldn't be surprised - most likely as a result of running on fumes. Not to mention the race being in France and Renault needs to make a good showing - especially in light of last weekend's 24 Hour result!!! On speed now - too bad Speed isn't carrying the race - guess I'll watch it on the computer live as it's isn't on until tomorrow afternoon. Carol
Speed just now started live timing - just about a 10 minute difference - need those commercials to pay the way! We chatted a bit with David Hobbs last Sunday, he was eating at the same restaurant as us adjacent to the Gare in LeMans! Varsha was not at LeMans this year. Carol
Morning Carol Afternoon Steve, Hope they let drivers know immediately if their lap is dqed by offtracking......
Good morning Isabelle - looks like only a few of us watching qualifying this morning! Got a chuckle out of listening to Speed and the NASCAR race at Infineon this weekend - instead of calling kerbs - kerbs, they call them rumble strips. Massa fastest right now!! Carol
Good morning Carol. Hobbs is really a decent guy....I convinced my mom to get her (formerly her's) S2000 from his dealership when she was looking. About the qualifying, Massa on pole with Kimi right behind. Mark
Morning Mark - looks like the usual supects are out in the first round - but Nico - with his grid penalty, if I were him, I'd start from the pits. OT, Mark you going to the ALMS race at Road America? Carol oop's I got impatient with live timini and Nico isn't where I thought he was! sorry
Odds are yes I will be there, but plans are not finalized yet. I haven't been to a major race weekend at RA so I am going to try to make it out there for at least Sat. and Sun. Mark
ALMS race is Saturday. Looks like I can go back to my earlier statement - if I were Nico, I'd start from the pits!!! not a very good start to the race for BMW - I wouldn't be surprised to see FA in the top three before it's all over in a few minutes
