So far, it looks like Massa intends to back up his words from practice. Anything can happen in Q3, but he looks up to the challenge. Ferrari is clearly the class of the field for this race. BMW doesn't seem to have it down on the "handling" circuits quite yet.
It will be interesting seeing Alonso and Trulli on Row 2 - wonder how many laps they'll go before pitting and if either will attempt to split the Ferraris at the start - I suspect they qualified on very low fuel loads. Carol
Yes, if he keeps up this performance the rest of the season it will be interesting to see what happens to him.
Exactly, Clint. Looks like Seinfeld is dead man walking next year unless he pulls a Phil. And soon. Hope he does well in the race.
Don't you mean Ferrari ferrari, Maclaren. Don't forget his 10 position penalty. hamilton will be starting from 13th. Oh what a shame.
It's interesting to hear them (Speed announcers) discuss the four stop strategy at Magny Cours. . . . brings to mind something we witnessed at Magny Cours several years back cheering for MS - Michael shocked everyone (us included) with the fourth pit stop! Guess he started something. Carol
Its ok, I was just rubbing it in. I felt his response to the incident in the last race was very arrogant.
Let's hope for a good clean start and great racing tomorrow. Ya'll have a great day - I'm off to do all my barn chores before it get's 90+ degrees. . . chat with everyone later. Carol
I am going to be looking for Massa to get the jump on Kimi off at the start. Kimi has been a little slow when the lights have gone out this year so it could be close. Mark
Even hotter in Southern California...temps well above 100 degrees. I won't even mention anything about Phoenix.
You got that right! I moved from Phoenix last year. That summertime heat is the "melt-the-rubber-off-your-tennis-shoes" kinda heat!!
Trulli on 4? Looks like Toyota's performance FINALLY starts to improve, after all the years that they've pumped money in the team...
