One week to go...! I'm so excited...!
It's only the best Ferrari event in the Southeast...if not the nation IMHO... http://www.frenchquarterclassic.com/ ...I went in 2004 and still recall it fondly. I cannot go this year, but plan to be back in 2007...
Carbon, who all from the southeast is going? I'm planning on going myself, but not registering, hotel, all the extras, etc. I'll be staying in Mobile and driving back and forth everyday. Was wondering if anyone from fchat will be down there that I could meet, etc. PM me if you've got any info.
Richard Thompson will be there; Dave Goldman... Possibly Frank/Sparta, but I've never met him... I'm not sure who else might be going...
I will be there, probably in the 550 Franco and John put on a GREAT party! BTW Carbon, you have not yet been to the Celebration event, so I would say that the NOLA event is one of the TWO best Ferrari parties in the country! Mark your calendars, April 20-22 2007! See you next weekend Jeff
You really need to register to really enjoy the event. The cocktail party, dinner and night on Bourbon Street are all really fun...and you can't get in unless you're registered...
Yeah, up until I found out the CARBON monoxide levels in the city are going to be off the charts. I mean, c'mon, how are we as mere CARBON-based lifeforms to survive with than much extra gassy pollution ? Are we just supposed to pop the top on a CARBON-nated adult beverage and get loaded? Dave PS just kidding CARBON, 'ya bastid!!!!!!!!?.?
Well, Lady Valeria won't be there to make small talk and keep him awake so watch out for the bouncers! LOL! Have fun guys! Give my regards to the Champagne Girls....
I already have... Note to self, if you give a rose to a champagne girl you are likely to run into her WORKING at the gentleman's club the next night.......DOH! See you cats there!
If there was any event I have read about with the most mayhem for Ferrari owners, it is this. I only wish I could party with ya'll down there. If past events are any indication this years event should be a blast. But guys? above all remain gentlemen and drive careful. We dont need anymore bad press over Ferrari's. I wouldnt mind seeing some of those banning level event pics. We do have an area of our subscribed section our fearless leader would turn a blind eye toward, no???
If the Cavallino Classic had an exorcism, the French Quarter Classic would be everything that was sucked out. It is every bit as debaucherous and balls-to-the-wall as you could imagine. It is every inclination, fathomed. Other events only suggest the possibilities; the French Quarter Classic is your VIP pass to every capricious whim your fluttering heart can muster. If you absolutely cannot make it this year, I highly suggest making arrangements for next year's attendance.
It's going pretty good these days man. I've been around here quite a bit lately now that I got a laptop. I was just looking at my pictures from the event and came across one of a very cramped Carbon squeezed into a Breadvan. The smile on your face is priceless. That was a hell of a time!
A few low quality pics of a picture I took with my cell for you. The first one is you in the Breadvan. The second I'm sure Dave remembers....thank God I didn't swallow a bug. And the last I'm positive you remember quite well Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
