360 Fresh air flap motor:Help!!

    Hi all,
    When I removed my dash, I found the motor that controls the fresh air flap zip tied to an a/c pipe. The bracket that hold the motor was broken. So I got the new bracket, and struggling to install it. I cannot get the toothed connector to the flap started into the motor gear, which prevents installing the motor.
    Anyone with experience replacing this gem?
