    Looks like Bay Meadows is back at it again - Friday's alive. Basically, they run later races (first post time is 4.30), and it's $1 admission for anyone under 30 (so Art is a few days shy), $1 beers, hot dogs and sodas.

    Honestly, this stuff is TONS of fun. A few of us went last year and we would bet in jest, only problem was we won... and kept winnning. Trifecta wins - count em, happened multiple times!

    Whatever the case is, this is something that everyone can enjoy. IIRC, it is open for all ages.

    Who's in? I am gone this friday, so how about Friday 2/11?

    You know..something I thought about.....horse racing and then we take our winnings a few miles up the road and do some racing of ourselves, minus the beer intake........yes, I did say that.

    I am in.

    One pony or another, right Brian? Worst thing happened was first time out I won a trifecta.... that wasn't good. But then we all do it in moderation, I doubt anyone in our group spends more than $20 in betting in the night.

    Have some interesting stories to tell?

    Same night I had hit it big as well (relatively), and I do not gamble. So, that created some inner turmoil. But, I left with more then I showed with. Damn beginners luck!

    Wouldn't dare to bet on a horse, can't tell a horse from a mule but Mickey Roony pissed away a fortune on them.

    Well, that was fun again!

    Did suck seeing a horse trip and break its leg on the home stretch, as it did this right in front of us.

    But, money was made of some silly bets, which is the whole point.
