Should you ever find yourself on Long Island, in New York, i can personally suggest - and highly recommend - that you get directions to Maureen's Kitchen on 108 Terry Road in Smithtown, NY 11787; call ahead, 631.360.9227, make sure they're open (Mon-Fri, 6AM-3PM, 7AM-1:45PM Sat-Sun).

When you go there, have a gander at what i recommend you order for lunch.

Ending burger week on a very solid note, this is an extremely fine specimen of a medium rare bacon cheeseburger, accompanied by fresh lettuce, tomato and potato wedges. This burger scores very high on our list of great burgers and is essential - at least in trial - when travelling the globe, composing such a list...

So without further adieu, i present to you, our fifth and final burger for International Burger Week. Enjoy.

Hey Carbon what the deal with putting fries on your burger? Is that an East Coast thing or just a Carbon thing?

Experience with other burger eaters confirms that it's just a Carbon thing... :) i've been doing it for as long as i can remember and i always thought it was the norm until, one day, when i was doing it, everyone i was eating with just stopped and stared at what i was doing... i guess it's not so run of the mill, after all... It's really good though; if you ever find a burger place with great fries, throw some of them on your burger and you'll be "in the know"... :)

it's kind of like dunking fries in a chocalate milk shake. Some one made me try it once and it was not bad. I still do it every once in a while.

This I believe is a North West thing. Both of my girlfriends that I had from Seattle, we would go to any place and they would do it. In CA I never met a woman that did that. I tried it, ok, but not good enough to continue habit.

One was from Everett and one from Monroe, so you can assume the kind of women they were ;) Thus my theory might not be 100% valid

I would say you thoery is amybe 15% valid. Everett and Monroe represent the "back woods" a little more than the Northwest.

Yeah I used to work in Bellevue, so I saw all kinds of different women. One theory that holds and is tried and true, the typical white women from the NW LOVES men of color/different race ;)

Easiest place to get laid in the Western US. LMAO
