- Somehow lost control on a wide 4-lane road, it is not known how fast he was traveling - Went on the median strip - Flipped to the side - Hit a pole - Somehow flipped back right side up and into on-coming traffic in the opposite direction - Hit by a truck coming down the road - Fuel tank ruptured, car burst into flames - Seatbelt jammed, couldn't get out - Burned to death His name was Khalid; he was in his mid-20s and a real petrol head. RIP, my thoughts and prayers are with his mother, father and sister.
I am very sorry to hear that. My condolences to you and his family. It is very sad to hear of such accidents, especially when young people are involved. It is a lot of pain and suffering for the parents.
Our prayers go to all concerned. When I see that a person has been taken from us, I figure that God said his time here was done and he needed him for something else. May he find happiness in his new calling.
Very sad to hear this, Our prayers and thoughts to you and the family. Ferrari or Hyundai owner, a friend is a friend the memories of whom will live on within your heart and those who knew him. Celebrate his life, you were blessed to be a part of it!
A blues DJ here on Pacifica signs off his show with this every Saturday morning: "Remember we are only on this Earth for a short while..tomorrow is not promised to us, so go out TODAY and do your best to make someone happy......" And as I've heard it phrased best..."they've gone on ahead."
Ya'll can report that post without quoting it...a Mod will clean it up. My apologies to Omar......we are glad you came here, to tell us about your loss..we understand.
My sincere condolences also to you, Omar, and your friend's family and friends. I hope you and all who knew him can remember the good times, and whoever the DJ is (that BigTex quoted) is spot on. Maybe you are too shocked to consider any practicalities at this time, but maybe you and all others could consider getting a LifeHammer tool installed in your car within easy reach of the occupants (www.lifehammer.com), also heed the advice of Jim (Napolis) regarding fire systems, as found in post #72 of this thread: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=130081&page=4 My thoughts go with you. Rich.
