Had a F car but seriously thinking about pulling the trigger on a G. My own threory is that one brand of car is not better then the other because of x y z. I'm more about just trying and experiencing new things like women and wine:)

So with the G, looks to be best to stay away from the 04's and get into a 05. 05 has the front end lift system and quirks worked out from the early 04.

My question is did anyone regret going from a Fcar to a Lambo? I do like the road feel of the Fcar compared to the G but then I only do a few track days a year and will never take any car to its limit so really who cares?

To each his own. For me, each marque has its own sense of identity. Love them ALL.

if you can afford an 06 go for it, you'll like the small differences over the 04/05 models. The Ferrari will feel lighter and more tossable, but the Lambo holds its own. I love my 06 SE

Not one! Going from the 360 to the 05 G was one of the best moves EVER! the only wish I had was for a servicing dealer in Portland. Good luck!

I had a 355 and then a 360 spider and then jumped over to an 06 G. They are totally different cars as mentioned and each car has its own unique properties that you will probably either love or hate. I like variety and therefore love the G as well. The G is a much more raw driving experience in my mind. It reminds me a lot of my 355 compared to the 360 in how you feel the road more and WOW the car hauls. The 06 sounds great stock too.

I also went from multiple F-cars to Lambo. I am now on my second Gallardo (04 Coupe and now 07 Spyder).

If you are looking at an 04 or 05 (minor changes between them - so roughly the same car). I would have no problem going for an 04. Just make sure service is up to date. And if it is an early 04 - there were some clutch issues with the A and B revisions. However if the car has more than 3K miles - it most likely would have had the issue already if it were going to.

Minus Lambo replacing my clutch on my very early 04 for free. I had no issues at all with my 04 coupe - they are rock solid.

06 and 07 give you more HP, shorter gearing, better performance and better stock exhaust - but you will pay considerably more for an 06-07 coupe than an 04/05. You also might get a little warranty left with an 06.

I would have no issue getting an 04 that has documentation of service or if you go with build date of July or after in the MY04.

if you are considering from a 360 to a 05 G definitely, do it. the G is much nicer. but a 430 to an 05 G is questionable. the 430 is is a great drivers car, it is extremely nimble, light and fast. the only thing the G has an advantage on is its looks. it is stunning. but a drivers car is the 430. dont take it the wrong way an 06 G is fast and handles great but the 4 wheel drive set up is made dumby proof, not as raw as the 430.

going from a 430 to a G doesnt make any sense at ALL to me, 360 to a G is touch and go.

I have been in a G, only thing is that there seems to be poor visibility and the dash is a mile long, but hey, its a lambo and it looks cool as hell lol

Well buy them all if you can is the best answer I can think of as they are both great. If I had to choose one between the 360 and the 07 G I'd take my 07 G all the way....just far superior in so many ways. The Murcie doesn't really compare with a 360 so that's mute and the 430 comparision is mute with the price over sticker....nothing is worth over sticker. You'll be smiling either way though that's for sure!!
