Just like Lamborghini of late; Ferrari likes to control their image by providing the pictures that journalists can use for their stories. The first picture of the California where two employees work on the engine compartment came from Ferrari. Filippo Alfero was given credit for the picture. The first new California rolled off the assembly line June 3, 2008 but the new cars won't be available until January 2009. When it comes to building the new Ferrari; most everything is still done manually. This according to Attilio Ruffo VP of marketing for FNA. Ferrari generally doesn't like to show pictures of the assembly line; rather they would prefer customers to think they are purchasing a 'hand made' product... CH
Beta used to be good. Do not know what it is like now. Tool quality changes. Snap On used to be good too but anymore give me Hazet or Stahlwille. Either costs less than Snap On and is twice the quality of the modern junk.
The new Snap On ratchet handles are worth looking at. They have completely redone the line, and they are fine tooth like the Facom, but they don't break. I have bought one, then another, then another. They are the best I have used, and are very much worth trying. Jay Morris
"...twice the quality...." By what means do you come to that conclusion? Snap-on has about 60% of the American market. I find it hard to believe that the people using those tools would not have noticed a substantial decline in quality.
