Hopefully a simple question for someone.
Are the front air intake fans (No. 65 on the attached image) powered or free spinning?

Reason I ask is that I can freely spin one of mine but the other is stuck and doesn't rotate
Are they controlled by any of the heater controls / fan switch?
What would cause one to stop rotating

Please note...My car is a late 77 model and it doesn't have the ducting to the fans. Fans are also in a square'ish box not round like the image

Does anyone have any guides for servicing?

    Thank you advance Jeremy

The fans should be free spinning when they are not "blowing", i.e., in use. You should be able to turn the squirrel cage when the power is off. There could be any number of reasons why the one fan is not turning freely. The motor could be seized up. Something could have gotten in there, like a rock, and jammed it. A real squirrel or mice might have taken up residence. Something might have hit the housing, dented it, and jammed the fan unit.

The only way to tell why it is not turning freely is to take it out and open it up. You will know pretty quickly why it is not turning. It is a pretty simple fan unit, so it should not be hard to diagnose the problem and get it going again.

Remove the front wheel and then remove the coverplate in front of the wheelwel and you can remove the blower.

about the ducting those ware removed by ferrari them self because to much dirt came in the interior.
