just finished putting all the brakes on the QV back together after the stupidity of a week ago, now getting the wheel nuts rechromed as Giovanni Millard's eagle eyes picked the fact one of them was buggered.

Had my boy bleed the brakes and he did an excellent job, have never had a better brake pedal height .... something to look forward to Brettski and Scott

Also this time I shimmed the calipers so the pads are perfectly square ....ok master pap ?

EBC greens, had them before and I liked them, also got a set of Bendix Ultimates coming

everyone says Pagid blues but I'll stick with what I've used and found good, they have to still work on the road so you can't go too stupid with the really hot track pads unless you want to change the pads 10 times a year

 

valid point plus the Pagid's from memory are hard on the discs.

As greg246 mentioned I'm doing Targa this year and I'm on the ferry on saturday night as well. I'll keep an eye out for a challenge in the queue to get on the boat.

Sounds like you have you have the right attitude to the event, so I'm sure you'll keep it on the road!

Troy did very well bleeding the brakes this time , last time he left too much air in the system

 

Everyone has their favourites Moretts. The guy I ran against always swore by Pagids. I preferred the Ferrodo's DS3000's. They were hard on rotors but stopped the car well. Brakes are only as good as tyres (grip that is) ATEOTD.

Enjoy your trip to Tassie. Make sure you post pics and keep us up to date please. Will try and get donw on Friday to say hello/goodbye.

I couldn't fix the brakes so we just made the horn louder.

 

Ya don't need brakes.

 

Moretti and I do - we're in the ML towing the trailer.
