front bumper dilemma

    i was going to refinish the front bumper on my us 81 this summer. but, should i just buy a euro style bumper in fiberglass and be done with it? what do you think? jon s.

    I think you'll be missing a few uprights in the grill then, the US bumper has those little bumps on the bottom, and there's no grill behind them. The much better looking Euro bumper will leave that exposed, in other words, you'll probably want to change the grill too. Unless you really want the weight saving, why not just tuck yours in and add the Euro lenses? Although recently I've read a few comments about minor collision damage being greatly reduced with the US bumpers still on the gas shocks. Of course none of us expects a collison, but it can happen to anyone anytime! Dino

    i guess if i tuck it in i'll still have to refinish it. however, i hadn't though about the grill fit problem. thanks, jon s.
