front compartment emergency release

The Dino has emergency release cables for the engine compartment lid (located in the luggage area) and the luggage compartment lid (located by the fuel filler) but there is no such emergency release for the front compartment lid. If the front compartment lid release cable were to fail it would be a nightmare scenario. I recently went through something like this when one of the engine hatch release cables on my Mangusta broke. I've been considering making up a simple emergency release for the front compartment of the Dino that would have a pull ring inconspicuously hidden in the left front wheel well. Has anyone else considered or done something like this? I realize that there is an originality issue here, but I cannot imagine what one would do if that release system failed in the locked position.
