It is very simple to attach a bracket without drilling. The bracket I use can't scrape the license plate and doesn't really impact radiator air flow. I bought a generic license plate mount from Pep Boys or AutoZone (don't recall which). The one I used is a two bolt mount (it attaches only to the top of the license plate in typical use) and it has a 1" deep bracket that is meant to be attached it to the body. I mounted the bracket upside down so that it holds the plate from the bottom 2 bolts. I mounted the upside down bracket on the lower grille as shown in the the 3rd photo by Wes of post #17 using long bolts and two 2" square plates behind to grill to sandwich it on the grill. Because the grill has large holes, you can move the plate to align it just above the bottom of the spoiler so that it never scrapes. The top of the plate is tucked behind the front bumper and is slighly obscured, but you can still read the numbers -- it looks just like Wes' photo 3 except the bottom of the plate is aligned to be slightly higher than the bottom spoiler. The whole thing took about 20 minutes from start to finish once I had purchased an appropriate bracket, long bolts (probably about 2 inches), and had found something to use for the backing plates. Sorry I don't have a picture.
