You can get adhesive "zip tie" bases that are real sticky......a 'peel and stick' square that we use in the industry..

That thing won't drop off but can be removed with dental floss and adhesive solvent later on..

Texas is getting tough, I drilled the Trans Am and use zip ties on the 308 grills....

They actually help them shoot radar from the front, as well as the camera thing.......it's just not worth the constant hassle.

I live on Long Island. We have a weekly car meet called Captree (OBI). On a really good Sunday we have between 500 to 650 cars, Rat Rods to Enzos.
70% of the cars do not run front plates. The cops (State troopers and Parkway Police) generally ignore us as they pass through. I keep my front plate on top of my instrument pod with Velcro. I have never been stopped. Going through the toll booths at any of our bridges or tunnels is a different story. The toll booths make you an easy target.

I am going to use a Volvo front bracket. Found it mounts perfect on a TR front grill without damaging it.

What he said. (Except for the opthamologist line at the end.)

It's no guarantee, but if you don't race and weave through traffic and leave skid marks at intersections the police are generally reasonable, at least in CA.

Forgive me but, this LAW, as you put it, is about REVENUE, not anything else!
The speed limit is about the budget. Ever meet a cop who did the speed limit? In Maryland, for instance, the Troopers are downright menaces on the highways. Worst drivers I ever saw!!! BUT, you are very right. Figure some way to hang a plate and fugetaboutit! Good point, sir.

We have front plates in most of Canada(except Quebec I believe)
The license plate backing plate is riveted via a small bracket to your front grill.

You cannot see the rivets or bracket and you donot drill your bumper.

I know I can get US specific parts from my Canadian Ferrari dealer......why not go to your local US dealer and order the plate ?

It fits properly and can be removed (drill the 2 small pop rivets ) without leaving any mess.
