Does anyone know the front to rear weight bias of the 550? I know the 612 and 599 have a rearward bias and wondered if the 550 shares that. I assume it's very close to 50/50, but wasn't sure.

    Thanks!

Grant-Depends on who you want to believe and how much fuel is on board (30 gal x 6.5 ~ 195 lbs). Here are a couple of quotes:

"All 550 Maranello's used a six-speed manual gearbox and variable back pressure exhausts similar to those previously seen on Ferrari's limited production F50. Weight distribution was split 50/50 front/rear and greatly contributed to the exceptional handling and balance dynamics."

I measured my Euro 01 at 1754 kg with a full tank of gas, 54.4% front, 45.6%, so the 50/50 claim is slightly ... romantic, as Ferrari's weight claims often are.
