I’m about to bring home a 360 with no scratches under the front bumper corners .
The car is going to be driven....it’s not going to be a garage queen .
That said I’m sure , even being careful , I will eventually encounter an incline that will touch the lower bumpers .
I’ve seen Ferrari skid plates sold and on YouTube by vendors for placement under the bumpers. I can this do this myself .
Question: Do they really help with some damage prevention , i.e. do you think they are worthwhile to bother with ?

    Thanks . Jim

For sure. All my cars have had them.
Much cheaper replacing a skid plate than a front bumper. The best are sold by Hill Engineering - better than OEM

I just picked up my F430 2 weeks ago and it has a Euro spec ride height/alignment so could be a lot lower than yours but without the skid plates on I would have been in tears the first day !!
This long nose touches every approach off a main road and in LA I even touched on a freeway bump. I have read in other posts that these cars are tuff and they are right...some of the approaches feel like the car is completely riding on the skid plates for a second.
I am not sure what brand my skid plates are as they look like they have been on the car for a while but they cover the right spots and look to be 1/2 “ thick.
I could take a pic of them for you my next dry stop today if you want. It is wet outside this morning in Oregon.

Image Unavailable, Please Login Same here, mine came with the plates and while they are not toast, they have some scuffs. My car is a hair lower than scud height and yes, in the la area it barely makes it. Hell, in my driveway the gf has to get out depending on which side I try to angle

Yeah, first thing I did when I got the 430 is get it raised to spec and a fraction. Driving West Coast Highway 1 In Northern CA great but getting there through Bay Area secondaries always a mess.

Make your own out of aluminum or ABS plastic. Super easy.

Get the skid plates. You will still rub your front bumper no matter how careful you are but at least the skid plates will absorb the impact and not crack the front bumper.

I had them on my 360 and now on my F430.

    Highly recommended.
