Hello All. I removed my front spoiler in order to change my radiator fans. Is there a recommendation for adhesive or other material between the spoiler and car. A thin bead of sealant was present when I took it off. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Charlie

butyl mastic was a common sealer used in period by manufacturers. Something like Drip-Check might be a better choice although I think I used POR15 Patch for my C piller seams. Don’t use Sealastic. Sealastic+metal=rust.

I used a sticky thin butyl strip that comes in a roll. The advantage over a butyl caulk it that it does not run and make a mess as you try to position the spoiler.
