I have seen both clear and yellow lenses for the front turn signals on boxers. Does anyone know under what conditions each color was used? Is it based on year of manufacture? Were the clear lenses required for Federalization?

Also, what are the various colors used for the front hood grill? I have seen silver, black and body color. Does anyone know which is correct?

    Many thanks,

    Steve

Lenses were determined by market not year. Italy for example is clear, north america is amber. Same applies to the flash to pass lights, amber in france for example, clear in north america.

The hood grills are all supposed to be clear anodized aluminum never painted. The black grills are what ferrari supplied later as a replacement for the silver grills but Ive never seen an original boxer come with a black grill. I know its easier to anodize them black than silver because the top edge of the silver slats are polished. Im currently trying to duplicate this detail on a silver grill, I can see why they opted for black for replacement stock.
