Does anyone make a cover for the front, under the steering rack? Looks like six machine screws hold it in place. I checked all the usual sources and no one seems to make it. Although I'm sure I can make it myself, spending that much time under the car doesn't sound like fun, so I'd rather find one ready made.

I'm in the same boat on those covers and need two. They were fiberglass at least on the later cars. I have instructions for making one someone posted on F-Chat and it looks pretty simple. Just a matter of having the time.

Yes, I think that's the plate that fits in the trapezoidal front piece 24603055.

Just checked with SF and the part I referred to is 245 x 145 approx. so you are right, its not the part.

My plate measures 535mm x 460mm x 16 SWG, should be easy to get someone to cut it for you. Did a search over in the UK and they want about £10 for a piece made to measure.

That's very helpful. I am going to send this info to alberto, @swift53 and have one fabricated. If you want two made,racerboy9, I can have him make them and send one over. I owe you anyways.

Aha! Thanks for that Andrew. I think I will fabricate one out of aluminum first and trial fit it as I have and E series. If it works out I will use it for a mold for fiberglass.

Well, I checked for mine bottoms, and none to be seen. Dino E, 03724.
Will have to make whole bottom.
    Ally or Glass?

    Regards, Alberto

Every one I have seen that looks original is fiberglass.

It would be easy for you as fiberglass sheets are sold in the USA, not here.
I would have preferred ally, as easier, but if I have to, I will hand lay the glass.

    Regards, Alberto
