Hi, Does anyone know what the front valence for a 330 (gtc) is made of? I'm talking about the piece that goes under the radiator, and covers the front suspension; I can send a picture off another gtc if you think you may have the part, and don't understand my attempt to describe it. Fiberglass or aluminum, or? Does anyone have one to sell, or can you refer me to someone? Thanks, Vince [email protected]
Vince - the one I worked on was fiberglass. I need one for my GTC - If I can borrow one from someone, I will reproduce it. Bob Z.
I have had one made for my car by David Levy email [email protected] He has mold and will sell copies.
Thanks to all that chimed in. Here is the response from Bill Young! Thanks to Jim Speer for the pointer to Bill. Vince: Fiberglass repro as original- your cost $175.00 part #2461888010. Can ship UPS. That seems to be a very reasonably priced piece. I always hear horror stories of insanely priced Ferrari parts. regards Ken
Is it the same as the 67 330GT? Mine is aluminum - but considerably beat up. I would be interested if the same on both cars Cheers Warren
I'm just going thru this for a 330 GT --- definitely Alli Different to GTC in shape and size I am familiar with David Levy reproduction but not sure of authenticity of fiberglass Maybe the easy way for David to copy ? Wish I could ask him ! Doesn't seem to make much sense that GT and GTC both Pinninfarina cars in same period had such different material Must be plenty of people with experience of both out there Please chime in Howard
