If I remember correctly, that was some attempt to meet federal bumper height standards, wasn't it? I wonder if it also serves to accelerate the bugs as they catch a low pressure zone on the bottom of that thing ;-) -Daniel
Yes, the bug thing is the deal. It is a fact that a bug(ANY BUG), will accelerate at 1.37 X A piece of pie, and therefore avoid hitting the windshield. It was a safety device.
Lamborghini made 2 different types from the factory, one you had to remove it to open the front hood, and the other just bolted on top of the front hood. -jt
