    My wife prepaid a flight for the 2 of us. She passed away 10 days ago. They will only refund her ticket price, not mine.

    Sorry for the loss of your wife, which is the bigger issue.

    Perhaps you can donate the ticket to a charity and take it as a tax deduction?

    If you want to make a stink about the ticket, I would send a letter to Frontier's CEO explaining the situation and notify your local news station. Contact the newspaper, too. Through dogged determination, you might get a refund or free ticket. But, you have other more important things to deal with right now.

    ^^ good idea. Sorry for your loss. Stories like this, excessive baggage charges and TSA "would you like to be radiated or groped" and it's time to quit flying until things get better, if ever.
