Good point; this is a self guided, via explicit route instructions, tour. The type of roads and the "other" traffic do not allow more than about three cars to easily stay together. so it is recommended that most cars have a navigator; find someone that can follow the instructions and pay for your lunch. :)

For those that participated in the First Annual Frosty Balls: wear your Frosty T-shirt and win a prize. The number of prizes available are limited, so the first three people that flash their Frosty T-shirts win.

I also have a vintage First annual T and will be away for the event. Maybe we will have to all wear them to a function.

Brandon outgrew his Frosty T-shirt, so a men's small is available.

Here she is. She had a full mechanical restoration, some mild performance upgrades and is structurally as sound as can be.

Paint wise, she is a 20 footer. She looks like Princess Kate at 20 feet, and the Queen Mother at 3 feet :D.

Beyond that, she has some really neat vintage touches and some exercises in bad taste... just like her new owner ;)

I love her warts and all and am really looking forward to spending this winter repainting her.

She is not a pristine car like my Testarossa...I didn't want another car I had to stress over. she is just a really well sorted humble driver, which I plan on enjoying for decades to come.

Im taking bets on how much restoration ends up being done on this car. Remember we are talking about the king of " well as long as you are doing that you might as well go ahead and do this".
In the End it will be the most perfect MGB ever...and then it wont be taken on Rallys anymore for fear it will get a scratch. We Love you man!!!

Looks great. It has a custom fascia; I've never seen one with wood. Very nice. When do we put the supercharger on it? :)

Decades (each decade is a month, LOL!)

Joe, I know what you mean about the paint, as my car is the same way. However, the beauty of it is that it means that it is a DRIVER, and a few more dings and scratches can't hurt.

Don B., am I ("Cobraownr") the "Don S" just added to the list after Stuart? If yes, please include a "+1" for my navigator. If there is another "Don S", I'm too confused to figure out who's who. I just hope my navigator doesn't wind up going home with the other guy.

    Navigator, smavigator.

Only one or two people actually need to know the route. The rest of us can just follow the trail of all the little British car parts. Or the oil slicks from the Italian cars. ;)

Looking forward to seeing everyone again.

If we have one third of the cars with navigators there will be no problems. Less will work, but a long line of cars will be hard to keep together in some places on the route.
