I want to replace the cover in the front trunk area of my 1976 308. It's a European car with a semicircular zipper that has torn and the material has become unglued. I believe it's vinyl. Does anyone have a source for such a material? Thanks Steve

My upholstery guy had samples but nothing was even close to what I have. I will go to a fabric store tomorrow. If I don't find anything, perhaps I will get the name of one or two places that you say, have it and buy it by mail. Thanks, Steve.

Their English is not great but I have managed. Considering the curved zipper and the trouble here most seem to have with them Id talk to them or Matt at Reorigionals or Henk at HVL to just supply a finished piece.

If I can find the correct vinyl, my guy can do it when I was at his shop this morning. He had a Porsche 1600 speedster, 72 911 S targa, Porsche 964 roadster and McLaren in the shop. So, I'm comfortable with his work. He's done two other important projects for me as well. Thanks for all the information if I can find the material we'll be all set. steve

I managed to get a closer look at the vinyl in the frunk and, indeed, it is the Zebu Dino. Mr. Fiat has it as well. thanx steve

Hi Steve, could you post some pictures of the zipper on your existing cover. Will you be replacing this as well? Cheers - Jeff

Hi Jeff, I am the second owner of this car...sounds like there have been a lot of changes to the car since I owned it years ago, but would be happy to fill in any gaps in the history if I can... Image Unavailable, Please Login
