How badass. Full leather seats (not a lot of traction for your butt when on the track, but it'll look better), the weld covers (forget what they are called) and non-blacked out tail lights and this is perfect!

Is there a warranty from Novitec on their components, or are you SOL?

Time to test that out! :D

I agree. Its not all that common to hear of a Ferrari with a broken rod or crank.

Hey Cam, When I got there, you said you had just taken the ad pix, right? Right?? I'm sure those pix were taken before I sat in that car. I just had everything calibrated against such misadventure and the proctologist assured me I was good to go! :)

Good news. I just checked out the photos I took before my ride...that "unknown origin" stain was present before I sat in the car. I can now canx my doctor's appointment.

There is another Fchat thread called "Scud leather vs alcantera," I think this pic can be used to support the leather side of the argument. :) :p

Good question. Its not on the stock Scud; mine doesn't have the same looking padding inside the recess?? Decorative? Super-supercharger hyper-space mode? Ludicrous-speed drive? CAM...help us out here.

It could be to control the butterfly valves in the exhaust.

That button is for the lift system. You push that button and the front end will lift up a few inches so you can clear a steep driveway or something like that.....

Interesting. Thanks for satisfying our curiosity, though I was hoping it activated machine guns or something. ;)

Novitec does offer a one year warranty on their supercharged engines. I don't know when this one was done so no telling about the warranty. With over 600 supercharger installs worldwide since 2003 not only is Novitec the most knowledgeable on these engines but if a buyer was scared at all with any future problems just do the research. With over 600 supercharged cars if it was such a time bomb we would definitely have heard about problems all over the internet by now.

I heard if you go 88 mph you will go to the future, super weird!

Thats good to know that they have so many kits out! Its crazy expensive but I can see why someone would do it because this car is INSANE!!!!!!

I think the point is well taken. Guys, until you have seen this car, its hard to properly appraise it. Most of us at a car show have walked up to some highly modded up mess. The owner (or product promoter) beaming, proudly proclaiming the fact he had spent $100k+ for the "improvements" and all you want to say in return is "what were you thinking!" Even if the exterior of the car wasn't rendered a tasteless mess, the high horsepower mods to the engine were quirky, unpredictable or unbalanced. This is not that kind of a car. It truly has the fit, feel, finish, performance quality and good design taste of any car that rolled off the factory line at Ferrari. It doesn't need to apologize for anything. And that's pretty rare.

Wrong car, Cam! That would be another "highly modified car." Sounds like you have not watched the videos yet? That's okay, just keep bringing us fun exotics, open houses and such and we'll give you a pass. C ya Sunday!
