I have this exhaust and it is my far the best sounding of the ones I have tired and personally heard (Fiammenghi> HGTC >> Tubi >> OEM standard). I have a capristo on my 512TR and it so far has underwhelmed me (but have never heard one installed on a 550/575)

This price is great deal. GLWS

I have Capristo mufflers on my 575. It's underwhelming as well.

That’s sad to hear. I was waiting for a used valved capristo to pop up for reasonable cost (just to try out). Given how disappointing the experience has been with the TR, I am now not willing to pay lots of $$$ used let alone over 5k new. Again, Fiammenghi is superior (and as you can see here, much cheaper as well!)

this may be a stupid question, but if the mufflers don't include the remotes, how do you operate the valves?

    The ways:
    1) the default oem setup which opens based on ecu signals at higher RPMs/throttle positions only
    2) leave open all the time
    3) use aftermarket controller: Fabio’s version, capristo sells (sold?) one, or the
Forza B4A Controller; personally use a B4A wired to a custom switch on the dash replacing my blank switch)
    Is your Capristo valved?
If yes, the easiest (and cheapest) would be just to keep using your current controller. And just swap the exhaust itself.

Thanks for the input! Yes the remote valve controller is easy as well. Gives the mix of stock sound/sporty when you open them.

my capristo's are not valved. To me it sounds like the air is coming out of 55 gallon drums. Very hollow sound.

Yea that’s on brand from my experience with their other products.

I would get a Forza B4A in that case
