    I would not ever use that stuff in a motor that required high octane fuel. Probably won't hurt a stock motor. Pretty much a placebo product.

    That stuff is a complete waste.

    I use methanol injection with pump 91 octane in the Supra to achieve over 600hp at 25psi, injecting it directly into the fuel rail to get atomized by the injectors.

    The effective octane is 106-107 (methanol is 122 octane) and I don't even use a full gallon of methanol for an entire tank of fuel because it's regulated by an aftermarket engine management ECU.

    I converted the washer fluid resevoir and when the low fluid warning signals the ECU to change fuel maps to the pump 91 only fuel map in milliseconds to avoid detonation. You can also control the ECU to only inject methanol when certain parameters are met, such as higher RPM or only at a given speed. It allows me to adjust my air/fuel ratios by RPM, cyl pressure, and run more aggressive timing.

    There are side benefits as well, such as lowering cylinder combustion temps by a variable amount (depends on the car, on the Supra almost a full 100c lower) and lower exhaust gas temps.

    It's the same stuff the Grand National and Corvette owners use, though they sometimes refer to it as alchy because it's all based on wood grain alcohol.

    Other than the obvious advantages for the 288 GTO and F40, on the naturally aspirated Ferrari engines, it can allow you to run more aggressive "race" timing to boost power. And, it will allow you to run on Mini-mart 89 octane swill without any issue.

    The only additive I use is Wurths Injector cleaner, sometimes.

    I have looked at additives to prolong the life of fuel. If you are storing a car such as an F40 you need the tanks full, so this product may help;
