On a weekend away in my 355 I noticed a strong smell of petrol, on inspection there was a small amount of fuel on top of the divider block. Once home I undid the retaining nut on the block and pulled out the unions and discovered the cause of the smell. Poor workmanship especially from a main agent. Recall was done by previous owner so I don't know which agent did it.

That sucks! I haven't done mine yet, I have the original lines zip tied away from the lid shocks to be extra safe and always examine the lines. I was thinking of getting it done in the spring but the dealers I can use are 2 to 4 hours away so I have been putting it off. I will probably defer it more now based on your results. Thanks for sharing.

    Hi All,

I got the recall letter but I think this car was done at an independent in the past.

Could anybody kindly post pictures of the fuel block area before and after the recall? Is it easy to spot? I have seen the Ferrari part on Ricambi site but I don't know what the 'before' looks like.

    Thank you.
