Hi Taz, that is true but no where this two hoses have any similarity, That was the last one Ferrari of US has it in stock. Unfortunately there is no picture of it available to check and is a special order and non refundable. $300 for a hose Ferrari should be in shame with ridiculous pricing . The superseded hose is. Very soft and kinks. Ferrari of Italy stop producing. Ferrari of Belgium had one in stock but by the time I submitted request it was gone. Believe it or not there is no aftermarket made hose I could come by to make it work.

Can't most hoses be fabricated at a reasonable cost?

Be very careful in any non-oem hose. The hose and it’s mounting is engineered with requirements for crash safety. It dips acordian in design for example to allow displacement without leaking in a crash. So just because a hose might fit does not mean it is smart to use it. I would rather use new oem, then old but functional oem , before an unknown. That said any chance of a hose from a different make car? Fiats, Alfa’s, Chrysler’s…. Ferrari uses lots of other people’s stuff.

Thank you Bill, I will check , website/ manufacturer I checked they have height quality US made hoses including Dayco, Gates, Novaflex .
The fuel filling hose for 99 Maranello has 30 mm ( 1 3/16 ) diameter, the closes one you could find is 1 1/8 which is not many of those.
The Filler Neck Supply: Gas Tank Hose | Fuel Filler Necks they have full line of quality hoses with reasonable pricing.
Talking to a part manager at Ferrari dealer across the country recommended Dorman # 573-141 it's used for Jeep commander has the same ID and length and fabricated bent that will fit 99 Maranello. Ferrari and other manufacturer stopped making corrugated nylon hoses with very thin wall for passenger cars which they can rupture easily, the superseded one is made from rubber and does not fit and you should see to believe what kind of quality it is. The one for 2000 Maranello has a different part number and I don't know if that will fit 99 Maranello or not.
FBB: I haven't check alfa, fiat yet, thanks for the tip.
