    Hello,
After reading some of these recent threads about "Fuel Lines" on 308/328, I am curious to learn where they are located on a 328 (yr 1989). So I can inspect and/or replace them.
Pics of the areas / process would be a HUGE help. Thanks!!

ps: What if we started our own complilation of DIY "fixes/repairs/maintenence"
    for our 308/328???

I'm sure we can piece together info and pics from each other to comprise a thorough database.

I havent done much of my own stuff yet but would be more than willing to participate putting this together with other members.

The fuel lines are pretty simple to spot. If you get under the car, you'll see the ones that are usually first to go bad coming from the driver's side fuel tank in front of the rear wheel. There are also lines to the accumulator and to the fuel filter. There is also a crossover pipe to the fuel tank on the other side.

Once you get under the car, all you have to do is look at the two fuel tanks and follow the lines that lead from them. Don't forget the filler tube from the fuel filler to the tank -- this goes bad too!

I tried to find those hoses a dozen times with a flashlight and couldn't.

Then i had my car on a lift and took the cover off and it's real easy to spot. the tubes that connect are metal with breaks filled with rubber hose. These are the ones you replace. The filler hose too. Also the hoses to the fuel pump.

And just LOOK at them, don't poke at them unless you are ready for a leak to start...did that once on an old Alfa GTV6, the line crumbled it was bad..which was obivious why did I have to poke at it! I had to quickly roll the car out of the garage and patch it up in the driveway one evening after work. it was a mess!!! PB : )

Thats for the responses and the insight. I probably would have touched and inspect the line via touch..

I found a nice description of the job here too.
