Hi, I got my car back from a belt service + fuel lines change last week and tonight I had the time to have a look. I was not very please with what I saw: Image Unavailable, Please Login This is a mess! As you can see where red arrows are pointing: clips shoudn't be at those places, and they're missing where they should be at green arrows. Image Unavailable, Please Login Clip is useless there, and missing in place of this zip: Image Unavailable, Please Login Furthermore, some lines seems to be at wrong position: Image Unavailable, Please Login Line A should cross over line B, not under. I moved the clips at a better position (red arrows) it is better even if not perfect, that should do until lines crossing problem is fixed. To do this, there is only one screw to unscrew the plate that retains the lines on the divider? Correct? So: unscrew, remove line A, pass it over line B, put it back into divider, screw back the plate and I'm done? I hope I ddin't forget anything, but any advice is welcome. Thanks
Certainly not something you want to leave unresolved if they are indeed not placed correctly- Fuel lines are no joke on our cars
I would like to see some original photos of fuel lines and clip arrangement on 355's as they came from the factory. Half our cars probably have the routing and clips installed wrong.
You're welcome. Not my work The full pdf file is available here: https://www.***********.com/attachments/ferrari_recall_48_nov-2009_355_fuel-divider-block-replacement-pdf.143521/ Edit: I don't know why the link is blocked with *****? Replace with "ferrari life" in one word and it should work.
???? Not that I want to know who did the work but did you ask the shop to rectify that or you are going to just do it yourself Im a little ocd and that would drive me nuts because I would question everything they touched Sorry not looking to stir the pot Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Yes I asked the shop to fix it, but if I can avoid to travel there and waste my time just for that I'd rather do it myself if I can... There is only one line to disconnect and pass it the correct way and put it back. I was badly surprised by this, but the rest of the work seems fine. This garage has a good reputation. During the time my car was there, there was a couple of F40, an Aventador, a Testarossa and other Ferraris and Porsches. Not a warranty of a good work, but definitively not a bad sign
