    THE FUEL CAP RELEASE BUTTON AT THE DRIVER'S SIDE THRESHOLD IS NOT WORKING.
    COULD THE PROBLEM POSSIBLY BE WITH THE SOLENOID? FUSE CHECKS OUT OK. HAS ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM?

    There should be a secondary release; a pull chord. But I don't know where it's located. Hopefully someone else can elaborate. The owner's manual might have that information as well.

    It could be a problem with the switch, solenoid or connection. Someone has to diagnose the cause. There should be an emergency release for the filler lid in the right side of the trunk, up above the trunk lining near the top of the fender (that's where it is in a regular 575M, don't know about a 575SA).
