Car: Mondial t Cab - same engine as 348 The fuel guage has never been accurate and varied quite a bit. Recently during some agressive corning, the fuel guage went to zero and stayed there. Occassionally it indicates some fuel and then goes back to 0. Appears to need a new sending unit. Which sending units will work? Will a generic unit work? Are they easy to replace? Thanks in advance for the info.
Mine works down to the half-tank level and then indicates empty. Haven't pulled the sending unit yet to see if its repairable. But with a tank that uniquely shaped, I doubt there is many universals that will work. Of course, it only takes one.
Just had Brian's Fuel Sender fitted works fine and I am able to see the fuel level again. Good Fix. Thanks again!
