Ferrari manual advises against using fuel with ethanol (alcohol) due to high quality parts that they use. Anyone know what this means and what it does to the engine as I dont think we can get gasoline with out ethanol (usually 10%) in the US..

10% alcohol will not hurt late model Ferraris. My 575M (same engine, essentially) has been running on it for nearly 10 years with no ill effects.

I wonder what would be the better to choice...94 with ethanol or 91 octane without, for example?

    I run 97 + in all my Ferrari's.
The Daytona gets a Miller's treatment which boost the Octane, neutralizes the ethanol and has a small amount of lead substitute.

Grant- Your octane rating in Europe/UK is different from that in the States. Your 97/98 octane and our 91 octane are roughly equivalent.
