New track for everybody. Anybody want to make an educated guess? Peter Sauber thought that the track would suit the Ferraris. Kimi mentioned, that he needs to win this to stay alive in the Championship. So: 1 Kimi 2 Freddy 3 Hami
I just read that Kimi doesn't use a simulator. Phil and Hamster do. Not sure about Alonshole but I would think he does. If RD still lets him still have access to it that is. hehehe! KR did go on to mention that there's 3 hours of practice on Fri and then 1 on Sat and he thinks he'll be fine. Any guess at this point is a wild guess but I'm going for 1. LH 2. KR 3. Phil
...if the new aero bits are as good as expected, and kerbs arent so steep... then: KIMMI MASSA ALON HAMIL HEIDF COULTH ...if the new aero package is a "close but no cigar" ALON HAMI *MASSA *KIMMI HEIDF COULTH *if the new aero package aint something real good, kimmi will bore easier than Massa...then he gets all numb and slow...he´s an adrenaline freak... *Massa will end up 3rd since he doesnt care if the car has the potential to win, he´ll drive like it there is no tomorrow. I guess they are "educated" since I didnt said the "F" word
Three of F1s most recent world champions wrapped up titles in Japan. Damon Hill took victory in 1996 to claim his title, while Mika Hakkinen clinched both of his (1998 and 1999) at Suzuka. Michael Schumacher wrapped up his first title for Ferrari in 2000 and record-breaking sixth world crown there in 2003.
There is one scenario in which Hamilton could wrap up the title mathematically this weekend in Fuji. But it is a rather grim one, so let's not go there.
Instead of making fools of ourselfs, why don't we just send an e-mail to Bernie or Max and ask them. At this point I am starting to feel like the whole thing is scripted. And if I had to guess, Bernie and Max wrote the script. So ask them. Maybe if you know them and get a few drinks in Max he may tell you even the 2008 results right now.
Funny you said that I was going to ask that question as I could,nt be bothered work it out... Grim indeed but it could be worse and I,am not going there either..
Having watched Imola 94 and Silverstone 99 live on TV, I no longer exclude anything. The TV commentators never think about it when they calculate the mathematical chances, but it is a possible scenario.
What I think will most likely happen: Fernando Hamilton Kimi What I think is the second most likely outcome: Fernando Kimi Felipe Hamilton does something stupid and gets taken out at the first corner.
Although I dont like your standings, I do agree Hamilton is on the Verge of the big stupid decision...he got away in SPA with the new scape zone... what stupid thing will Hamilton do Next!...I can see a very late break at the first corner...
In the most recent Autosport that I received (generally I get them a week late because I live in the US) Lewis said that Felipe hit him, rather than they made contact. He does seem to be developing an awkward view of events. I can see a very late brake as well that results in an impact or he takes himself off the track and cuts a chicane thereby gaining an advantage and he gets called in for a stop and go penalty.
1. I don't care as long as it's a ferrari 2. I don't care as long as it's a ferrari 3. I don't care as long as it's NOT a mclaren 4. I don't care as long as it's NOT a mclaren 5. I don't care as long as it's NOT a mclaren 6. I don't care as long as it's NOT a mclaren 7. I don't care as long as it's NOT a mclaren 8. I don't care as long as it's NOT a mclaren
Fuji's first corner is not as tight as Spa. It is more like USGP. I wouldn't expect contact amongst the front runners, but rather in the midfield. Fuji's tight spots are the hairpin in the mid section and the chicane in the last sector.
I like it. But just to maximize the decrease between LH AND KR make mine.... 1 Kimi 2 Massa 3 thru 8 Not Mclaren
+1 More importantly why are we not racing at Suzuka??, one of the best tracks of the season!. BTW: Alonso will win this race. Pete
Alonso punts Hamilton out in turn one, and both drivers end up stuck in the gravel. Both with the engine still running. When the crane thing comes to put them back on the track, both cars are exactly the same distance from the crane. Now the question is, which driver will the marshalls aid first? They choose Alonso, which makes Lewis Hamilton wave his arms in the air in frustration. Then they cut to a shot of Ron Dennis throwing his headset down. Both drivers end up a lap down, and well out of the points. Kimi wins, and Felipe is second. Ok, back to reality now. Kimi Massa Alonso Hamilton I don't think Hamilton will finish ahead of Alonso for the rest of the season, now that he is on his own as far as set up goes.
But Bernie would have told ALL the marshalls to look after LH first ... . Whatever the boy wants, just do it! Pete
