Oh dear God!!! I have a Ruger GP 100 .357 Revolver and I like to play with speedloaders from time to time. I must say there is no way in H-E-Double Hockeysticks I could reload that fast. He's blazin'!!
That's Jerry Miculek. I've seen him in person at the USPSA Nationals back in 1992. He's AMAZING! Not only blazingly fast, but damn accurate and his reloads (dump the cylinder full of empties, swap in a 6-round moon clip and start shooting again) are phenomenal! He's also a real nice guy. Real down to earth and friendly. Part of the secret is, he actually uses extra power trigger return springs in his guns to get the trigger to reset forward faster. His wife, Kay Clark-Miculek, is also a top shooter. They run a competitive shooting summer camp for kids.
I cannot recall his name but there is a demonstration shooter I have seen that shoots Colt single actions. He shoots 5 rounds so fast it sounds like one. You have to see it in slomo to believe it is 5. Reloads are out of the question though.
Probably Bob Munden. He has neat little trick where holds the trigger and fans the gun, but when he fans it, he uses each finger to pull the hammer back for each shot. When he does it, it looks like he's just gently sweeping dust from the top of the gun. He can get five rounds off quick as a machinegun.
I also can't believe how well he can keep that pistol on target while doing that. To me that would take more skill than the fast shooting part.
