    Just installed the full exhaust (header, decat) and the sound is great though not as loud as expected inside the cabin but was told by a friend it is pretty loud outside. Anyway, the engine does rev better and there is no loss of low-end torque felt. There is flame shooting out of the muffler when life the throttle at high RPM as unburned gas got shot out of the exhaust. I can also hear and felt unburned gas exploding in the muffler. I guess that's normal after decatting. Overall, I am quite happy with the result.

    OH MY!! Got any pics, vids or sound clips? I'm sure im not the only one who would LOVE to see this. The sound must just be incredible!

    Yes, any air leak in the inlet after the air flow meter is unmanaged, and all sorts of confusions can arise, depending on quantity and circumstances.

    Basically, a bit like any car with an air leak.

    Full power would barely be affected, only small throttle and closed throttle behaviour... (slightly rough and/or inconsistent idle, burbling/crackling from exhaust on over run etc).

    The Tubi system will amplify any of this, but they also create a bit of this too, so exactly how much you've got is hard to tell.

    With the engine idling... spray WD40 or similar at all the inlet manifold joints... if it gets sucked in the rpm will change a bit, and you'll know. Wobble the plenums a bit while you do this, you'll see they're probably a bit loose.

    I would have to agree. I have a 355C that has the challenge exhaust without the cats. my friends love to drive behind me and watch the occational little flames come out of pipes on an upshift. LOL

    Imagine....... how great it would be if you can have Ferrari custom made the complete exhaust for you (for track use only, of course). I'm sure we all would be appreciated that more than Tubi.

    Of course Tubi is legal.

    The point is not whether Tubi make better exhausts than Ferrari, but rather that in some instances they dramatically improve the sound!! e.g 360 - sounds awful stock IMO, much better with a tubi..

    and just for the record Tubi also [sometimes] make exhausts for ferrari...such as the CS NGT system.
