Australia Italy France Germany not mentioned in the poll, but Thailand...i got family in these countries...not a bad place to live...
If I couldn't live in the US for some reason, I assume I'd want to move to somewhere with a weak extradition policy.
Well, 90 would be cheap. With the latest prices -on cheap gas- it cost me ~140 USD to fill up the 550...
???? No income tax ? That's monaco. Switzerland has very low tax on wealth, but income is quite high.
My 2 cents: Lived on England (Near Oxford) for 2-3 years while working for Williams Grand Prix Good points: 1.) Quaint and pretty. 2.) When the weather is good-then it can be nice. 3.) London is the best city in the world-period. 4.) Taxes were not as bad as I had expected. (Much closer to US than EU) 5.) Great heritage/sightseeing. 6.) People, mostly, are friendly. Bad points: 1.) Weather. 2.) WEATHER 3.) Cost of living-very bloody high. 60-80% over USA, housing cost 200-250 % of US costs 4.) People a bit reserved at first-but then they are okay. England would be a good place-just make sure you have a bit of money to back up your lifestyle. Canada--(Where I am now a bunch) Sorry folks-I do not like Canada-- Taxes way too high and just getting worse. People are very anti-american--quite bad actually. Gov policy on most things is quite bizarre-- Country is being overun by immigration. That in itself is not bad, but it seems to be gov policy to encourage each ethnic/geographical group to not integrate into the greater society. So what you have is the "balkanization" of Canada. This town is 100% Chinese, this town is 100% Indian, etc. In Ontario, the gov was actually seriously considering allowing the local Muslim population to enforce "Sharia" law on its own populace, in place of/along side of Canadian law!! Insane! And of course, the weather! South of France- Now this is more like it--Not necessarily the coastline, which is too expensive and too overdeveloped but inland 10-20 miles, up in the hills near Paul Ricard. Beautiful land, cost of living lower, people are actually very friendly to yanks, housing costs are not bad. Yea-maybe there would be alright.
Mexico, baja pennisula....Beautiful waterfront real estate there for very cheap...still close to the U.S.
Canada - Already live there though, perhaps move out to Tofino and surf Australia - Never been there, always wanted to see Koala Bears and Kangroos
Italy Switzerland England Spain Australia The US has some nice spots, just not a fan of american culture and politics. dont like the whole melting pot issue. great place to make money, less so to raise a family unless youre already wealthy.
curacao. 10 in rainfall a yr. dutch possession. no threat of secession 100% updated medical care. beaches. sun. they cut tax breaks if you retire there, buy a house and employ a local as housekeeper. what i don't like is the numbers of columbians comig through. the inevitable will happen.
International Waters. I'm tired of tax happy idiots in the United States. Sell everything off, open a Swiss bank account, buy a Feadship and live on it. Then Hire a crew and hire the boat out. Set sail around the world to various locations. Nice places to visit, but I wouldn't want to stay there.
I would have to say England. Home of Manchester United, Carl Fogarty, and Katie Price. Need I say more?
